Sports Journalist and Anchor Olivia Ray Joins Cincinnati’s WLWT News 5 Team
WLWT and Hearst Television announced Thursday that Olivia Ray has joined the WLWT News 5 team as a sports anchor/reporter. Viewers can expect to see Ray covering local Cincinnati sports on WLWT starting today. Ray has also reported live from backstage and on court at the biggest games at Indiana University, Purdue University and Butler University, as well as local high school sports. Ray began his career at the WSBT in South Bend, IN covering Notre Dame Football. Ray is a graduate of Indiana University’s Ernie Pyle School of Journalism. “Olivia’s experience covering the NFL, Big Ten, Big East, along with extensive local high school sports coverage makes her a great addition to our team,” WLWT said. Ray is an Emmy Award-winning sportscaster and anchor who was recently on WISH-TV in Indianapolis, where she covered the Colts, Pacers and Indy Car Racing.
Ray has also reported live from backstage and on court at the biggest games at Indiana University, Purdue University and Butler University, as well as local high school sports.
Ray began his career at the WSBT in South Bend, IN covering Notre Dame Football.
