If you dreamed of going to Hollywood to be a star, now you can add one more reason to stay home and hang on to this daily job. South Korean company named DeepBrain IA announced the creation of AI studios, a SaaS-based studio that makes it possible to create films without, as their media advisory points out, the need to “shoot in person or employ real people”. “
The unions of actors, directors, and filmmakers and makers might be shocked because of this.
To make matters worse for Hollywood workers and real estate owners, DeepBrain AI’s product is available as a cloud service, so anyone can make a movie and bypass California taxes. by logging in from low-rent states that sarcastic Hollywood insiders called “flyby country.”
The tool features 30 new avatar-like “models / actors” who can, unlike almost all pretty faces in casting agencies, be fluent in English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. The company promises more languages will follow in 2022.
The system uses artificial intelligence to coordinate the movement of actors with the script. The company promises that an aspiring director will only have to download the text of the dialogue – the AI will take it from there and synthesize the arm or leg gestures from a collection of preconfigured movements. There is currently no indication as to whether the AI also handles the deep motivation and resonant backstory that fills each character.
“With AI Studios, I was able to make a video using the AI announcer Kim hyun wook, a famous Korean advertiser, without hiring, filming or devoting valuable time to the editing process, ”said Cho Byung-hyeon, CEO of Korean company Commentary House.
SaaS cinema studio for small and medium-sized businesses
While development poses a threat to players at all levels, DeepBrain AI targets individuals and small businesses. They expect AI models to find work by adding a bit of life, albeit simulated, to what might normally be dry PowerPoint or Prezi slides for YouTube videos or corporate training sessions.
DeepBrain AI is also partnering with real schools to introduce AI models to students. The company installed beta versions at Sinbong Elementary School in Seoul, Korea, where it was deployed in grades two and six. Teachers can share lesson plans and edit presentations before they’re rendered for kids.
“Our AI tutors enrich my lessons with video synthesis that mimics my teaching as well as lesson reviews from other instructors, giving students additional insight into the lesson plan,” said Hyungjun Yoon, one of the teachers at a primary school in Sinbong.
Several samples from AI tutors and are available on YouTube, including videos explaining how AI studios can make it easier to create videos, how to use AI kiosks to amplify the next generation of customer engagement, and how human AI technology can help business customers and customer service. The current pricing plan will include three tiers and a 20% discount for the annual payment.
