NFL Films Director of Development and Innovation Joins NYF Advisory Board

The 2023 New York Festivals® TV & Film Awards competition welcomes the National Football League’s Director of NFL Film Development and Innovation to its 16-member Advisory Board.

Now sitting on what VP and Executive Director Rose Anderson calls “an international brain trust of innovative storytellers and industry executives whose expertise spans all genres” is Jodain Massad.

“For me, joining such an experienced board is like joining a varsity team,” Massad said. “I want to be a good teammate to earn my place and play my part for a common goal: to celebrate exceptional and innovative content everywhere.”

A veteran executive producer, Massad brings more than 15 years of experience as a brand champion, innovation agent and story maker to the NYF 2023 Advisory Board.

Prior to his current role with the NFL, Jodain served as Executive Producer of Innovation and Design for the University of Notre Dame. During his tenure, he reset the vision and rebuilt Notre Dame’s production culture.

He started his producing career in 2008 with the Kansas City Chiefs. Throughout his years with the organization, Jodain was promoted to various leadership positions in production, including that of production manager. During his 8-year tenure with the Chiefs, he led the team in the production of documentaries, television broadcasting and advertising campaigns.
