James Bond actor Daniel Craig once lashed out at a fan and angrily snatched his phone away for it
Daniel Craig is shaken but not agitated by fans pulling out their phones to click on the actor’s photos. Craig is currently starring in his latest adventure as a British spy James Bond in No Time to Die. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the film stars Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, LÃ©a Seydoux and many more. Recently, the actor explained who the next 007 should be and said that a woman can never be Bond.
During an interview, the Specter actor said that a woman shouldn’t play the role of James Bond, but instead advocated equal action roles for the original female characters and actors of color.
Daniel Craig also previously shared about his struggle to maintain the fame he gained due to his role as a spy. With that in mind, Craig has some issues with fans taking his photos in public. In 2013, the star was reported to lash out at one of her devotees in a supermarket. The fan was trying to snap photos of Craig and his wife and actress Rachel Weisz, who has starred in films like The Mummy, Black Widow, The Bourne Legacy and more.
Daniel Craig got in anger and shocked onlookers by grabbing the fan’s phone. As reported, Craig shouted, “Is watching me shopping with my wife really interesting to you?” while Rachel Weisz tried to calm him down. While a bystander said: “Daniel was really angry, and it seemed at one point that he might even destroy the phone.”
The viewer added, âBut Rachel was a lot calmer and quickly stepped in to give the guy a stern but polite talk on privacy. She really defused the situation, which could have spiraled out of control.
It was also reported that Daniel Craig’s wife Rachel Weisz managed to calm her brash husband and even managed to convince the fan to delete the photo and apologize to the A-lister.
