20th television developing the spy drama “Candygram”
20th Television is developing a brand new spy drama called “Candygram”, which is created by writing duo Katie J. Stone and David Daitch, who have previously worked on “Splinter Cell”, “Shooter”, “Call Of Duty” “and” Interceptor “.
“Candygram” is based on a clever street dweller who learns that his unique skills are exactly what the CIA needs when they move to her hometown of Las Vegas. But while his unconventional methods present new challenges to the station chief and his diverse team of agents, they will work towards a common goal despite their differences: that is real life spy.
Katie J. Stone and David Daitch will executive produce the series with Derek Kolstad and Laura Lewis, Christy Thornton and Stephanie Noonan of Rebelle Media. Derek Kolstad previously worked on the Disney + series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and has just finished production on the upcoming Hulu / Star original film “The Princess”.
Expect to see this series on ABC and Hulu in the US, on Star + in Latin America, and on Disney + everywhere else in the world.
